THE POMADE SHOP RATING:
CONSISTENCY: Easy to apply, smooth scoop
SCENT: Hard to describe but very nice, cologne scent
Mr Hawke set out to create the best men’s hair product in the world. Why? Because they were frustrated. Frustrated that there wasn’t a product on the market that could be used correctly at the roots. Frustrated with hair going hard and felling like plastic. And frustrated that no product helped the hair and regrowth.
Mr Hawke is the answer to our frustration. Give it a go and you'll understand why.

Is that your hair I smell?
As well as helping your hair look fantastic, our product also smells like it came from the expensive section of the perfume counter. That’s because we roped-in one of Australia's top perfumers to make sure your hair’s a treat to the nose as well as the eyes.
Bit sticky but works down great in your hand. Scent is a bit sharp but smells like a floral kind of smell you get on some powders. Hair felt pretty good at the end of the day, was nice and soft. I'd say more of a medium hold but
Product has a medium hold with very low sheen, which is ideal. The scent is i) strong and ii) very unusual. I'm not sure that I like it, but I don't hate it either. Very hard to describe - almost some weird combination of tobacco and talcum powder, but not quite. My 8-year old said "you stink" but it's growing on me... I'd probably try one of their other products/scents next time.
