      this is a very solid product. it is very effective as a cleanser and leaves the hair feeling nicely conditioned and clean. the scent is not a strength but it is not offensive or unpleasant - it is the same as the scent for the layrite matte cream. there was good value at the price given the size of the bottle and I would most likely repurchase
