e·nig·ma: (iˈniɡmə/)
noun

  1. a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand.

Enigma Volumizing Cream derives it's name from the fact that it was developed completely unexpectedly. During my experimentation's here at the Lockhart's Headquarters I often combine ingredients in ways that are certainly unorthodox in order to see what may result. I never expected something so unique. To me, it was an Enigma. A cream that is so thin that it can dispense from a pump bottle, and yet, when heat is applied holds strong and provides an exceptional amount of volume and texture. Through additional refinement we finalized the formula and simply called it "Enigma."

Great for short textured hairstyles, or longer flowing hairstyles

Unique Characteristics:

Water Based: Fully water soluble for hassle free performance.
Viscosity: The pump provides the exact amount of product needed
Bentonite and Kaolin blend: Adds extra volume and texture.
Acrylates: Provides strength and rigidity for all day hold.
Coconut Oil: Provides nutrients to leave hair soft and strong.
Clove Flower oil: For healthier, stronger hair
Natural beeswax: Provides hold and locks in moisture.

PRO TIP:
Apply one pump of Enigma to your hair at a time from back to front, being sure to get to the roots. Brush through product to ensure even coverage. Apply medium heat with a blow dryer to get hair flowing the desired direction. Once hair is flowing the right way, apply cold air to lock the style into place.

Bonus: Using Enigma as a prestyler can add additional volume and texture to other hair products as well.

Amazing pre-styler

I use this as a pre-styler, and most-often don't require a post-styler. It works perfectly to blow-wave my thick wavy hair, nice and straight with a good amount of hold that lasts. Have tried lots of pre and post stylers (Blumaan, Hanz du fuko, Trade Union, etc.) and this by far works for me.

Best pre styler

BEST. PRE. STYLER. IN. THE. MARKET.
I used to use three-four drops of argan oil and 2-3 drops of olive and almond oil as a prestyler before to help tame the frizz and keep my hair smooth and straight. But ever since I started experimenting with this product, that's it. I don't think I'll ever use anything else as a prestyler. Ever. Just half a pump of this thing on my 4-5 inch damp hair before blow drying, and I can get just about any result that I want. And add a beautiful post styler, which for me is either shear revival gray ghost, or shear revival Northern lights, your hair will not only look healthier than it ever did, but the style will hold for almost two days, easily. Smells like a cologne too.

Great prestyler!!

Really great product for pre-styling! Gives amazing texture and volume into the hair. It’s a great combination with a lighter post-styled, such as a matte paste. But you can get amazing results with a heavier product such as a clay. Can end up using less post-styler to get great results!

The name sums it up

Never really had success with pre-stylers but Enigma is amazing. As the name suggest, definitely a mystery how it works. Half a pump or less was sufficient for me. Comb + blow dry with finger comb to finish. Cowlick contained, curls tamed. The smell may not be everyone's cup of tea though. Reminds me a bit like incense. However the smell is only strong when applying and during blow dry. Not noticeable afterwards. Would definitely recommend
